Off Again

Well, the kids and I are off again. We leave tomorrow for Klamath Falls to 1)see Stan and 2) go deer hunting. My family and friends have camped in the same meadow for nearly 40 years so this is a great tradition. When I say great I mean great as in....we dig a hole in the ground put a toilet chair over it and call it a smokehouse. We have an annual chili night where all the men have a chili cook off. It was once a challenge to see who could make the spiciest chili but now that they all (the older generation) have gotten older their systems can not handle it! So...our gear is packed, the kids are ready and I can't wait to be a redneck wife for a week! We'll have lots of great pictures when we get back. And, hopefully, Stan won't shoot my buck this year!

That's My Girl!!

Teagan received this sign for her room from Grandma. It reads......"Shoes, it's a girls thing!"

Happy Birthday, Teagan!

We had an early birthday celebration for Teagan this weekend. Her actual bday is the 21st but Stan can't come home and Grandma, cousins and friends were all in Salem this weekend.

Fun in the Sun!

This was over Labor Day weekend. Hermiston has a very fun Spray Ground that the kids and Stan love to play at. I love to lay in the sun there!

Out like Trout!

The kids and I are heading to Salem again tomorrow to meet Stan for the weekend and attend a wedding. We don't have much planned other then the wedding and maybe a bbq with Stan's old high school buddy in Portland. I'm hoping it is relaxing!!! I'll put some new pictures up when we get back. I know everyone wants to see new ones of the kids (MOM!!).

To go or not to go.....

Well, as many of you know I was going to head back to school this fall to finish up some prereq's to go to nursing school. This has been a desire of mine for a long time and I was very excited to be pursing it. However, after much thought, prayer and talk, Stan and I have decided that I should wait. While all of the small details had been worked out (ie childcare, schedules, tuition etc.) we still feel that our kids are too small and the time too priceless to put them with a sitter. I have to say that I (Angie the individual) am a little bummed, I (Angie the wife and mom) do know that we are making the best choice and we won't have any regrets!!
