Here We Are

Can you believe it is Christmas time again?? How did this year go by so fast?!?! We have had a good few weeks, most of it filled with delight and fun times.

We did have some tragic events on November 16th. Stan's cousin, John, was killed in a car accident while on duty with the California Highway Patrol. He lived in Lodi, CA with his wife, Stephanie and two kids, Chandler, 4, and Reese, 2. Stan was able to fly down to California to spend time with his family down there and attend the funeral. We are so proud of John and the man that he was. And we are so proud of Stephanie for the strength that she has!! She is an amazing woman!! Please keep them in your prayers.

Now, we did enjoy Thanksgiving in Newport, Oregon. We met my mom and grandma there and spent a few days in a condo with a great view of the ocean. Penelope enjoyed her first swimming experience in the pool and Teagan and Blake loved being at our "beach house".

Yesterday we took the kids sledding. I think Stan and I had more fun laughing at the kids then the kids had actually sledding. Blake did not like the snow blowing in his face at all!!

We are traveling down to Klamath Falls for Christmas again this year. We are excited for the season and to see friends and family. We hope everyone else is enjoying this blessed time of year!

I Do NOT blame Blake at all - poor boy...here our kids walk around with only little slits to see out :)
Punky - I'm totally digging your little wrinkled knees!!! Love it!
Teagan, you are such a beautiful big girl - I can't believe how long it's been since you napped in my pack and play and played with baby Jady - oh I miss those days!!! Our first little snugglers - gosh Ang, we've been busy - those "firsts" when far TOO fast! Love you all so much

Hi Angie,
I am so sorry for your loss. We will keep that family in our prayers. Aother reminder that life is fragile and each day we have with our little ones really is a gift. Somedays that is hard to remember. The kids pictures are great. Teagan looks like such a lady. So beautiful. Ben took the kids swimming this weekend. I wish we had snow. Well, for a day anyway and then I would want the sun back. Big kiss to all of you and Happy Holidays.
