Stan's Bday Weekend!

Stan was home for the weekend!! It was his 27th birthday on Friday-and we partied in style-we did nothing :( We did, however, have a very relaxing time as family. My nephew, Ben, was here for the weekend also.

Minor Details!

Teagan is great at memorizing songs and books. Her latest song is Amazing Grace. She recites the entire first verse of the song! The only little glitch would be "was BLONDE but now I see"

Our Great Weekend!

We had a great time over the weekend! We took the kids to the Zoo, Oaks Park in Portland and to Lincoln City. It was such a great time to reconnect as a family!! Stan and I even managed to get to dinner alone! (Thanks Craig and Marion!)

Upcoming Weekend

The kids and I are going to meet Stan in Salem on Thursday. We will be staying with some family friends. Friday are plan is to take the kids to the Zoo in Portland, then to Oaks Park on Saturday for Berg's (Stan's employer) company picnic. Saturday is also our 6th anniversary, so maybe we will get to go out to dinner with no kids!!!!! Now that's what I call a gift! We might head to the beach on Sunday but we'll see how the kids are holding up! I'll be sure and post more after our trip.

Weekend in Klamath

Well, the kids and I returned yesterday from Klamath Falls, again. We went down to visit Stan and attend a wedding. It was great weather and fun to see many old classmates at the wedding. Stan was one of the groomsmen and I have to say...he looked good!!
The weather here in Hermiston has been hot!!! It was 105 yesterday but cooled off to a mild 101 today! Thank goodness for AC!!
Looks like we will be staying in Hermiston. Stan will be working in Klamath, hopefully, only until October. Then head up here for a job close by. He will be able to stay with the same company, which seems to be great!! I'll post more about our "plan" later.

Grandma's visit!

We had company the last couple days! My mom came up from Klamath Falls and brought my Grandma (my dad's mom) with her. She also came to pick up Sierra because she was staying with me for the last couple of weeks. Benny also made the drive up. I do miss Sierra now that she is gone, it was like a live in nanny for two weeks.
Stan is still working down in Klamath. He has been gone just over two weeks now. The kids and I head down next Wednesday to visit him and attend another wedding.

Stan and Blake together! Now they look even more alike because we buzzed Blake's hair. I didn't mind that the back of it was touching his back (his curls were too cute) but Stan didn't like it!

We are Bad Bloggers!!

Well, it's been quite sometime since we've posted anything new. However, there have been a lot of changes in a short amount of time. First we want to say CONGRATS to our brother, Steve, on his recent marriage to Gwen. They are an awesome couple!!! We were all able to go to their wedding in Klamath on June 24th. Teagan was their flower girl and did a fantastic job!! Second, Stan switched jobs from Union Pacific to Berg Electric. It was a difficult choice because the entire reason we moved to Hermiston was for the UP job. It was, well let's just say, not Stan's cup of tea. The down side of him working for Berg is that right now he is working back in Klamath Falls. HA, funny how things work. So needless to say, we are at a cross in the road. Do we move back to KF? or stay in Hermieville?? Only God knows that right answer to that question but we are doing are best to take it one day at a time and wait for His answer.

Easter Egg Hunt at Church

Mexico

Stan and I went to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in December for a late honeymoon.( Well, 5 years and two kids later) It was a much needed time for us to rest, relax and reconnect.

Where are we?

We have recently moved to Hermiston, OR. For those of you that don't know where that is, which is probably everyone, it is located in NorthEast Oregon. Stan took a job as an electrician with Union Pacific Railroad in January and the kids and I made our way up here in March. So far the move has been a good one. Stan's job is going good and we love our new house. Teagan and Blake have settled right in. We are still enjoying Stan being on the day shift, however, it is short lived. Next week he will most likely change to either graveyard or swing shift. The latter of the two being our first choice. (How do you keep a one and two year old quite during the day?)
Hermiston is well known for its watermelon's. So next time you buy one look at the sticker to see where it came from. It is a small town, about 15,000 people, but we are close to the Tri-Cities, WA (actually 30min). So it's nice to see some shopping besides Wal-Mart on occasion. The Columbia River is a long 10 min. drive from our house and the famous Pendleton Round-Up is 25 miles away.

We are moving on up!!

We have moved up in the online world!! Thanks to Matthew and Caren Cooke who shared their blog with us...we now have one! Who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks? We will try and keep this as up-to-date as possible. (Especially now that we don't live in Klamath Falls anymore, I know our friends and family would like to see pictures of us....well the kids!)
